Ambercor Shipping participated in air charter transport from Canada to Australia

The Canadian based project freight forwarding team of experts at Ambercor Shipping, member to the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) for Canada, took part in an urgent air charter operation for a shipment out of Calgary Airport (YYC).

The team expertly coordinated the pickup and delivery of compressor and cooler packages within two days up to Calgary International Airport for loading into a chartered plane to Toowoomba Australia.

With the Ambercor project team being air side at YYC to oversee the loading of the B747 Freighter, it was quite the spectacle as a charter plane of that size and magnitude is quite rare in this area of Canada thus bringing out the aircraft enthusiasts around Calgary.

The shipment consisted of the following:

• 2 x Main skids – 9.5 x 2.53 x 2.256 m, 14 515 kg each
• 2 x Coolers – 4.25 x 2.31 x 2.394 m, 3 810 kg each
• 1 x Pressure vessel – 3.09 x 2.064 x 1.473 m, 1 315 kg
• 1 x Pressure vessel – 4.47 x 1.66 x 1.523 m, 2 222 kg
• 1 x Crate – 5.4 x 2.438 x 2.29 m, 5 897 kg
