From America to Russia: vital heavy tunneling boring machine for the Moscow Metro expansion

Albacor Shipping USA, Houston, together with Albacor Shipping Russia, successfully arranged the delivery of a tunneling boring machine for the Moscow Metro expansion project.

A total of 1800 cbm including 1 heavy lift with 98 mt and 630 x 630 x 440 cm was shipped from the US port of Coyemans to Russia’s Saint Petersburg and continued by truck to Moscow.

Albacor managed to use Atlantic Ro-Ro Carriers vessel “Atlantic Dream” which made a special deviation to port of Coyemans, USA to load the cargo.
