Oversized drums in Greece handled by Cosmatos

Cosmatos Shipping Services, member to the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) for Greece, handled the transport arrangements for 7 drums, picked up from FCA manufacturer EKME, and loaded onto MV Fehn Calypso via Thessaloniki port.

The drums had dimensions and weights as below:

• 21.5 × 3.75 × 4.77 m, 55 ton
• 10.15 × 4.3 × 6.11 m, 29 ton
• 8.1 × 2.75 x 5 m, 13 ton
• 7.5 × 3.2 × 4.12 m, 11 ton
• 9.6 × 3.8 × 4.7 m, 18 ton
• 12.55 × 4.45 × 4.85 m, 25 ton
• 12.55 × 4.55 x 5 m, 25 ton

The final destination for the drums was Constanta Romania. Cosmatos Shipping Services supported the entire local scope, including road transport, stevedoring, lashing, securing on board and welding.
