Steder Group B.V. in Rhoon, WWPC member to The Netherlands, was awarded with a shipment to move several items of urgently required marine equipment for a Shipyard in China. Consisting of one pressure vessel unit (PVU) of 42 tons – 380x330x680 cms incl. IMO 2 - Nitrogen and 1 hydraulic power unit (HPU) of 26 tons – 750x270x350 cms and several smaller items.
Due to the urgency of the cargo Steder Group was requested to provide a fast and economical solution. The PVU was shipped as breakbulk cargo and the HPU unit on a 40ft FR. The shipment was loaded onto a container vessel in the Port of Rotterdam which sailed for China.
