During June this year Polytra N.V., member to the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) for Tanzania, handled the third shipment for a large project to Ndola, Zambia.
The complete project, devided into three different shipments, totalled 3800 pipes for a water supply network, utilizing over 210 trucks.
These pipes were discharged in Dar Es Salaam Port and loaded directly onto trucks carrying tailor-made wedges with final destination Ndola.
At the discharge site the Polytra office in Zambia took over the discharge of trucks, de-nesting of parts of the pipes and final customs clearing.
