Each year, when representatives from member companies of the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) gather for their annual conference, the event focuses on networking and exploring new business opportunities. Same time social consciousness of the group is manifested through an auction in support for disadvantaged children.
In 2011, WWPC launched a meaningful initiative to share this philosophy: a benefit auction held at each annual conference to support a carefully selected local charity dedicated to helping disadvantaged children. This tradition has since become an important aspect in WWPC’s conferences.
The WWPC charity auctions are made possible through the generous contributions of WWPC member companies and the network, first-class ocean carriers, airlines, and other service providers in the project forwarding community. Their donations have helped raise nearly USD 400,000 to date, with all proceeds directly benefiting the chosen charities.

A Message from the Director Wolfgang Karau, Director of WWPC, shared:
“The little we can do to help disadvantaged children towards a better start in life at the location of our conferences has had the desired impact on the various charities, and we shall continue this wonderful auction wherever we go with our annual event.”
